Dean Huijsen is attracting interest from both Liverpool and Arsenal as he has become one of the most coveted young centre-backs in the world.
Since heading to AFC Bournemouth in the summer, the Spanish international has been an absolute revelation and looks like a world-class defender in the making.
Regarding the 20-year-old’s future, Huijsen’s dream destination is Spain as both Real Madrid and Barcelona are plotting a move for him as well.
However, Huijsen’s agents have met Liverpool and Arsenal as the youngster is keen on wrapping up a summer exit as quickly as possible.
But Bayern Munich are another club interested in bringing Dean Huijsen to the Allianz Arena.

Bayern Munich can only sign Liverpool and Arsenal target Dean Huijsen on one condition
Bayern have scouted Huijsen numerous times this season and now, journalist Florian Plettenburg has revealed that they consider the Liverpool and Arsenal target a “very exciting” prospect: “Dean Huijsen remains a player FC Bayern consider very exciting and have been monitoring closely.”
But Plettenburg added that Huijsen is not a “concrete transfer target” for Bayern due to his £50 million release clause and the German giants will only seriously be able to pursue his signature if they can move one of their defenders on such as Kim-min Jae: “However, he is not yet a concrete transfer target for the summer, mainly due to his high price tag. His release clause is set at £50 million. Huijsen would only become a serious option for Bayern if there are departures in defence, Kim, for example.”
“Bournemouth‘s 20-year-old top centre-back is planning a move in the summer.”
Bayern’s stance on signing the Bournemouth defender will delight Mikel Arteta, who loves Huijsen as well as Liverpool.
Arne Slot would like a new centre-back at Liverpool in the summer and the former Juventus colossus would certainly fit the bill.
Huijsen has been tipped to reach the top and people around him believe he will become the best centre-half in the world.
The Premier League club Dean Huijsen is likeliest to join amid Liverpool and Arsenal interest
Based on just tuning in to watch the Amsterdam-born wonderkid this season, it is crystal clear to see that his ceiling is sky-high — being virtually two-footed, an excellent tackler, athletic and a leader at the back.
The bad news for Arsenal that does not impact Bayern is that Huijsen could join Liverpool if he decides to stay in the Premier League, as per journalist Mark Douglas: “I think if it was a Premier League club, I think, again, Liverpool are a really good bet to do it. But the problem is if you’ve got Real Madrid looking at him, you do wonder whether we will end up there because, you know, he obviously wants to play for the Spanish national team, he made his debut in this last international break. And I think, you know, it’s obviously if you are Spanish and you want to play for the Spanish national team, then Real Madrid kind of feels like a good fit.”
“The noises coming out of Bournemouth are that he’ll definitely leave. I mean, they don’t even, you know, I don’t think they’re even counting and seeing the fact that he’s going to stay.
“I think they know that he’s going to go. But it does. It has given them this kind of chance to make a £38 million profit in 12 months on a player (£50m release clause), and has kind of illustrated the fact that they’re a shop window for players to come in. So they’re kind of almost becoming like this second version of Brighton, if you will. So that’s great for them. In terms of Liverpool bringing him in, I think if it’s an English club, I think it’s probably going to be Liverpool.”
