Bayern Munich impressed by Harry Kane's performance in Tottenham vs Arsenal
Spurs were blown away by Arsenal in the first half, and although they tried hard to get back into the game after the break, the damage was already done. The Gunners deservedly won the game, and Kane and co were left extremely disappointed.
However, the 29-year-old’s performance was not viewed as a bad one at all.
Bayern Munich impressed by Harry Kane’s performance in Tottenham vs Arsenal
Even though Arsenal were the dominant side, Tottenham had their opportunities.
Aaron Ramsdale, who won the Man of the Match award, made seven saves in total – two really good ones from Kane, who on another day could’ve scored a brace.
Tottenham fans were not happy with any of their players on Sunday and rightly so, but officials at Bayern Munich were apparently keeping a close eye on the derby, and they were blown away by Kane once again.
That’s according to Falk, who told GiveMeSport: “Bayern Munich are still keeping an eye on him. I heard they were impressed with his performance yesterday. Although he lost, they saw that he is always able to score.
“Even if his team are playing badly, he is always the man who can change it.
“They are impressed with how he plays in the box. How fast he is, his aerial ability. They say he’s a complete player and if there’s a chance to get him, they will try.”
The Kane to Bayern Munich links have been around for a few months now, and although it has been claimed that the Englishman doesn’t quite fancy a move to Germany, he may change his mind.
Spurs have been awful recently, and there’s no sign that things will get any better. If a serial winner like Antonio Conte is struggling to bring success, what hope can Kane have of ever winning a trophy?
The 29-year-old will enter the final year of his contract this summer and he’ll have a big decision to make. He can either force a move away from Spurs to a side like Bayern where he’s guaranteed to win trophies, or he can stay at the club and risk finishing his career without any silverware.
It will be interesting to see how this pans out, but Bayern look really keen as things stand, and that’s not good news for Tottenham.
