Arsenal are in the mix to sign Atletico Madrid and Portugal striker Joao Felix and Bayern Munich might have just opened the door a bit more for the Gunners.
Felix is said to be in demand in January. He has fallen out of favour a tad with Atletico and the Portuguese is said to be open to moving away from the La Liga side.
Of course, a number of clubs will take Felix. He signed for Atletico for over £100m and has since starred for Portugal in Qatar. Arsenal are one of the clubs said to be keen, while Newcastle are also known to have shown an interest.

And now, in a boost to those English clubs looking on, Mundo Deportivo reports that one of the interested parties from Europe, Bayern Munich, no longer have an interest in Felix.
MD quotes Sport1 journalist Karry Hau in its report. It’s claimed that while Bayern did hold some interest in Felix, that has now died off. That, of course, could leave the road clearer for Arsenal to make their move.
The Gunners are in the market for a new number nine after an injury to Gabriel Jesus. However, Felix could cost big money, meaning the numbers would need to work for Edu and Mikel Arteta to push a deal through.
TBR’s View: Felix can win Arsenal the title
Sometimes in football a club has to really go for it to be successful. And with Arsenal, you feel they need to push the boat out here and go for someone like Felix.
Jesus’ injury is a massive blow. The sort of blow that derails a season. With that, Arsenal need to sign someone else and Felix fits the bill.
He has shown his class at the World Cup. And if Arsenal can get that version of him in England, then he’s the sort of player who makes a title push even more likely.
