German champions Bayern Munich are reportedly battling Leeds United and Crystal Palace in a move to sign PSV Eindhoven’s English talent Noni Madueke this summer – and Bayern fans are desperate for their club to beat Leeds to the teenage talent.
Madueke, 19, has been on fire for PSV Eindhoven this season – having a hand in 17 goals during 27 senior appearances in all competitions. The England ace has scored nine times, one of which came in the Europa League – as well as laying on eight assists.
An unused substitue during England Under-21’s 1-0 defeat to Switzerland last week, before starting against Portugal on Sunday night as Aidy Boothroyd’s team suffered a second successive loss – resulting in a 2-0 defeat. Madueke lasted 72 minutes.
The Evening Standard have claimed that Leeds and Palace are interested in signing the highly-rated PSV ace – as are Bayern Munich. Madueke came through the ranks at Palace before joining Tottenham during his academy years, aged just 12 in 2014.
Then, in 2018, Madueke chose to leave Spurs and join PSV. Now, he could be on his way back to England and Bayern fans have reacted on Twitter – urging their club to sign winger Madueke in the coming weeks ahead of both Leeds and Crystal Palace.
