Arsenal are reportedly interested in raiding Bayern Munich for highly-rated teenager Angelo Stiller this summer, as the midfielder’s contract expires in June 2021 – and Bayern fans have reacted on Twitter.
German newspaper SportBild have claimed that 19-year-old midfielder Stiller is a target for the Gunners with Mikel Arteta actively looking to bring in cover in the middle of the park. Thomas Partey has long been linked with Arsenal.
Stiller, though, is hardly an immediate, first-team option. Indeed, the Germany Under-18 international is not even training with Bayern’s senior side under Hansi Flick – let alone being in with a chance of earning his debut for the German champions.

However, Stiller has caught the attention of Gunners scouts with his performances in the club’s second string – who play their matches in the third tier of German football – and his efforts in the UEFA Youth League with Bayern’s Under-19 side.
Stiller has played six times in the UEFA Youth League this season, scoring once from holding midfield and even laying on six assists. Indeed, Stiller has had a hand in 12 goals this season, during his 16 Under-19 appearances.
With the Bayern teen’s contract expiring in the summer of 2021, Arsenal are looking to raid Bayern and bring the youngster to north London for a potentially cut-price figure. Many Bayern fans reacted to the news.
