Bayern fans react as Paratici reportedly activates agents to sign Tolisso for Tottenham

Tottenham Hotspur could be about to secure a deal for Bayern midfielder Corentin Tolisso in January – and Bayern fans have responded on Twitter.

Tolisso, 27, is about to see his Bayern contract enter it’s last six months. The France international, as things stand, will be without a home in June 2022.

But from January 1, if his contract is not renewed, non-German clubs will be able to sign Tolisso on a free – that will see him join in the summer.

Clubs could also land Tolisso on a cut-price figure in January, given that Bayern will not want to let their £35m (Guardian) signing leave on a free.

CalcioMercato say Tottenham are keen – with Fabio Paratici activating agents over a move to bring the ex-Lyon star to North London.

Roma, Inter, Juventus and Atletico Madrid are also said to be keen. A report from Bild claims Tottenham could sign him for as little as £8.5million.

What are Bayern Munich fans saying as Tottenham eye Tolisso?

Tottenham could do with a midfielder in January. Tanguy Ndombele and Gio Lo Celso are in the 10 role, while Dele Alli is likely to leave the club.

Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg and Oliver Skipp are defensive midfielders, with Harry Winks also likely to be sold. Spurs need a number eight.

Tolisso would be the ideal addition. A player equally as good in defence and attack, producing 32 goal involvements during his 102 Bayern outings.

For such a small fee, Tottenham could get him in January. It seems Bayern fans are all the more happy for Spurs to take Tolisso off their hands.
