Leeds United midfielder Kalvin Phillips is closing in on a return from injury.
The 27-year-old has been on the sidelines since December, when he injured his hamstring against Brentford.
Phillips’ absence has proved costly for Leeds, who have struggled for much of the season.
Leeds have won just two of the 11 Premier League games he’s missed since going off injured.
The Elland Road outfit’s form has been particularly poor in recent weeks as they fell to some heavy losses.
Leeds’ woes have culminated in the sacking of Marcelo Bielsa, Jesse Marsch taking over as his replacement.
Once Phillips returns to action, the Whites’ mission should become a little easier.
The England international is not quite ready yet, but on Thursday, he posted a cryptic update on social media.
Phillips shared a photo of himself in training at Thorp Arch, and added three hourglass emojis.
This could suggest that he’s not far from making his comeback.
Phillips’ Instagram post received over 36,000 likes, and two former teammates expressed excitement in the comments.
Barry Douglas, now at Lech Poznan, and Leif Davis, on loan at Bournemouth from Leeds, both replied to the post.

While Marsch has a tough job on his hands, the prospect of Phillips being back soon is a huge boost.
As well as Phillips, Liam Cooper and Patrick Bamford should also be back very soon.
