Leeds United are interested in Wolverhampton Wanderers winger Helder Costa this summer. As reported by the Yorkshire Evening Post this week, the Portuguese talent is considered the main transfer target for Leeds this summer.
Costa, who according to the BBC was a £13 million purchase for Wolves, has struggled to establish himself in the Premier League and Leeds are hoping to bring his talents back to the Championship.
It would also reunite him with a former team-mate. Costa shared a good relationship on and off the pitch with Leeds left-back Barry Douglas. The Scot is clearly a massive fan of the attacker.

The pair were interviewed by Wolves TV back in April 2018, after a 2-0 win over Birmingham City secured the club’s promotion to the Premier League.
In that interview, Douglas was asked just how good Costa is and after initially replying in jest, he grouped him as one of the ‘phenomenal’ talents Wolves have at their disposal.
“Yeah, he’s ok. He’s still not got more assists than me.
“Like I said, the individual talent is second to none the guys are phenomenal.”
Costa and Douglas often formed a devastating partnership down Wolves’ left-flank and Leeds fans will no doubt be hoping for similar should they manage to secure the 25-year-old’s signature.
Douglas will undoubtedly want to be teamed back up with his old pal, even if it just to rib him about assists all over again.
