Barnsley boss Daniel Stendel has been singing the praises of Leeds United following their 2-0 win over the Tykes at Oakwell.
Barnsley held out for much of the game but late goals from Eddie Nketiah and Mateusz Klich gave Leeds a deserved 2-0 win.
The result puts Leeds back to the top of the Championship, ahead of Swansea City on goal difference.

Speaking to the official Barnsley FC twitter account he stated his belief that Leeds are ‘the best team’ in the Championship.
As reported by The Star, he praised his team for their brave effort but again conceded Leeds were simply too good.
“I am proud of this performance. We played like we can play. I think when you created so many chances against Leeds, it’s a really good game and not so easy. You need to take the chances in the right moment to score. It’s not happened today…
“You can see why Leeds have ambition for promotion this year. We are disappointed but this is the performance we need every week and to score to win points.”
TBR’s View
This is not the first time Leeds United have been praised heavily by opposing managers after defeat this season.
Salford City’s Graham Alexander, Stoke City’s Nathan Jones, and Bristol City’s Lee Johnson have also had to admit the superiority of Marcelo Bielsa’s men.
It does, of course, give Leeds something of a problem. Being labelled the best leaves them with something of a target on their backs, making a win over Leeds and Bielsa something of a scalp.
Leeds fans will just hope the club can continue their current good form and remain the best in the league for the entire 2019-20 campaign.
