Barcelona's Denis Suarez can be ready-made Aaron Ramsey replacement at Arsenal
Aaron Ramsey is leaving Arsenal at the end of the season and Unai Emery is already thinking about his potential replacement.
With the Welshman’s contract expiring, Arsenal can either sell Ramsey this January or lose him for nothing at the end of the season.
Either way, Arsenal need a new creative midfielder to fill Ramsey’s void in the long run.
According to The Independent, Barcelona have offered Arsenal the chance to sign Denis Suarez for £14m.
For a cut-price fee, Suarez could prove to be an ideal ready-made replacement for Ramsey at The Emirates Stadium.
Although he is not a regular starter at the Camp Nou, the 24-year-old is still a talented midfielder with much to prove away from Barcelona.
Suarez has only made three substitute appearances this season, racking up just 32 minutes of action.
But the once-capped Spain international has previously impressed in La Liga with Sevilla and Villarreal.
And in his bit-part role for Barcelona, Suarez has scored eight times in two-and-a-half seasons.
In a fresh environment, like at Arsenal, Suarez can get his career back on track and star in Emery’s side.
Emery previously had the former Manchester City kid at Sevilla during a loan spell and the two could reunite to fill the gap left by the departing Ramsey.
