Spurs could get their hands on reported target Miralem Pjanic this summer, after Barcelona director Mateu Alemany admitted the Bosnian could go.
Pjanic has been linked with a move to Spurs in recent weeks. Reports from Spain, as picked up on by TBR, suggested Tottenham were looking at a loan move for the Bosnian midfielder.
Indeed, it’s even been reported that Pjanic might be allowed to walk away from Barcelona for nothing. This, despite the Catalan giants paying a whopping £55m for him.

And speaking to Football Espana, Barca director Alemany conceded that Pjanic can look elsewhere for regular football.
“We know the situation and are evaluating the possibility of finding (Pjanic and Samuel Umtiti) another club. They are the first to be interested in finding a team where they can play more regularly,” the Barca chief said.
The door, then, is open for Fabio Paratici to make his move he if he wishes.
Midfield quality
You can never have enough quality in the middle of the park and Pjanic has that in abundance. Certainly, he’s someone who would be an upgrade on the likes of Harry Winks.
Pjanic brings experience from the very biggest clubs in Europe. He’s also got a handy knack of firing in from set-pieces. The Bosnian has scored an impressive 21 free-kicks in his career. (stats via Transfermarkt)
If he is available on a free, then is a no-brainer for Spurs. And with Barca admitting Pjanic can go, now is the time to swoop.
