A number of Barcelona fans have taken to Twitter to react to reports from Sport this week claiming that the likes of Leeds United and West Ham have made enquiries for Martin Braithwaite ahead of the January window.
Braithwaite’s time with the Catalan giants looks set to go down in folklore. The 29-year-old was signed after Barca were granted an emergency exception to make a signing outside of the window in February.

Admittedly, he has not been a regular fixture in the Catalan giants’ side by any means. But it is little surprise that Barca are seemingly open to letting the Dane leave at the next opportunity.
According to Sport, they need to reduce their wage bill. And Braithwaite could be one of those who leave the Nou Camp.

It is suggested that Barcelona are open to loaning out the former Middlesbrough man. But ideally, they would like to recoup the £16.1 million they spent on him this year.
And Sport claims that there has been plenty of tentative interest. Leeds, West Ham and West Bromwich Albion have all reportedly made enquiries. It is noted that none of the sides have made an offer at this stage.
It remains to be seen if there is anything in the reports. But it appears that plenty of Barca fans would have few issues seeing him leave.
In fairness, some believe that he does bring something to Ronald Koeman’s side. And one supporter hinted that he may be good for Leeds, in particular.
But it is an ominous sign that a handful of fans have insisted that Barcelona should be willing to let him go on a free.
Here is how some of the fans reacted to the reports…
