Arsenal and reportedly rivalling a number of European sides and Frank Lampard’s Chelsea in pursuit of Barcelona goalkeeper Neto this summer with the Spaniard surplus to requirements – and Barca fans have urged him to leave.
The Express have claimed the 30-year-old is a target for the Gunners despite Arsenal boasting Bernd Leno between the sticks. However, Argentine Emi Martinez may look to leave The Emirates this summer in order to gain first-team football.
However, Arsenal are not alone in pursuit of Neto. Chelsea are also keen, as are some of Europe’s biggest clubs – including Atletico Madrid, Sevilla, Real Betis and AC Milan – despite Neto only managing four appearances for Barcelona since his move.

Barcelona will want to offload a number of fringe players in order to balance the books amid the current global health crisis. Neto falls into that category, but it remains how much Barca will want for a player signed for £23million (BBC) last summer.
Marc-Andre ter Stegen remains first choice at Barcelona and there are certainly no doubts surrounding the German’s place between the sticks. It has left Neto on the sidelines and a move this summer seems inevitable.
Barcelona supporters reacted to the reported news on Twitter that Neto could be on his way to north London this summer, or indeed a number of other clubs – and fans reckon they need to be sold.
