Manchester United forward Marcus Rashford is now set to move to Barcelona, according to reports.

The Manchester United academy graduate, who told the club he wanted to move this summer, is now a step closer to fulfilling his wish.

Earlier this month, TBR Football chief correspondent Graeme Bailey confirmed that Rashford to Barca had become “likely to happen”.

This has proven the case, with Fabrizio Romano now declaring “here we go” on Rashford to Barcelona on Saturday afternoon.

A verbal agreement is now in place on a loan with option to buy, with a medical expected in the next few days.

Barca fans are excited about the prospect of Marcus Rashford working with Hansi Flick, who has shown he knows exactly how to get the best out of his attacking players.

It looks as though it’s only a matter of time before Rashford will be sharing a pitch with Lamine Yamal, one of the best players in the world.

Rashford recently hinted at his desire to play for Barcelona in a recent interview with xBuyer on YouTube.

He labelled his potential new teammate Lamine Yamal as ‘the best’ when asked about the prospect of linking up with him.

Rashford said: “Yeah, sure. Everybody in the world wants to play with the best. So hopefully, we’ll see.

“He’s playing at the highest level, I don’t think we’ve seen it. To have his mentality is a skill. He’s not normal to be doing what he does and will keep improving.”
