As always seems to be the case, Tottenham and Arsenal head into the final weeks of the Premier League season with something to play for.

Spurs are desperately trying to finish in the top four, while Arsenal are gunning for their first Premier League title in 20 years.

Both teams face off in two weeks’ time as Arsenal head to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on April 28th in a game that could decide both teams’ fate this term.

Speaking to TNT Sports, Rio Ferdinand has been trying to predict every result for the Premier League title chasers between now and the end of the season, and he’s given an intriguing view on how this game will turn out.

Rio Ferdinand predicts north London derby

The pundit shared his verdict on how this game will turn out.

“The north London derby, away?” Ferdinand was asked.

“That’s the banana skin for me, so I’m going to go for a 2-1 Tottenham win,” Ferdinand said.

Tottenham will be up for it

This will be a tough game for Arsenal, potentially the toughest they have before the end of this season.

As we always say, anything can happen in these derby games, and Tottenham will be more up for this game than ever before as they not only look to spoil Arsenal’s title charge, they’ll also be looking to claim a top four finish themselves.

Two years ago it was a decisive north London derby that cost Arsenal a place in the top four, and perhaps it’s the exact same fixture this time around that could cost them a Premier League title.

It’s not easy to call how this game will go, but if Arsenal do manage to get past their great rivals they will be in good shape to go on and potentially win the Premier League.
