Liverpool once again ground out a result last night, as West Ham became the latest team to leave Anfield empty handed.
The Hammers looked like they might just hang on for a point but a late Diogo Jota goal ensured Jurgen Klopp’s men moved back to the summit of the table ahead of rivals Everton.
Jota’s winner followed on from a penalty from Mo Salah, who had equalised following an opener from Pablo Fornals for the Hammers.

And while Jota got some of the headlines following the game, it was the performance of Curtis Jones that once again caught the eye of a number of Liverpool fans on social media platforms.
Jones is starting to develop into a fine midfield player for the Reds, and Twitter was awash with comments praising the youngster following his performance against West Ham.
