‘Baller’, ‘Deadlier than Laca’: Arsenal fans react to Eddie Nketiah video on social media

Arsenal fans have been discussing Eddie Nketiah on Twitter this afternoon after the club posted a mini tribute to the young England under-21 star yesterday.

Nketiah is currently away with the Young Lions and is the captain for Aidy Boothroyd’s team. However, he has got off to a miserable start, with England losing 1-0 to Switzerland yesterday.

But the Gunners took time out to plug their young striker on social media yesterday, as they released a teaser video of documentary charting Nketiah’s rise from the Arsenal youth set up into the first-team picture.

Nketiah has struggled to get regular minutes this season. He’s behind Alexandre Lacazette and Aubameyang in the pecking order, while Folarin Balogun is another young player in a similar boat to Nketiah.

But Arsenal fans have still responded in kind to the video from the club, with there a clear demand from some fans to see Nketiah given more chances in the first XI this term.
