'Baller'; 'Big things coming': Tottenham fans were loving late move for J'Neil Bennett
Late on Deadline Day, Totenham Hotspur fans – whilst hoping for some signings – had to settle for some outgoing loan deals, as J’Neil Bennett headed out to Crewe Alexandra.
The young winger only made his senior debut for the Lilywhites a matter of weeks ago, in Spurs’ 1-0 Europa Conference League loss to Pacos De Ferreira. But now he heads out on loan for the first time.
Bennett will be heading to The Mornflake Stadium to turn out for Crewe, who currently sit 23rd in the League One table.
He will be tasked with adding to the EFL side’s attack having provided five goal involvements – three goals and two assists – (Transfermarkt) for Tottenham in the Premier League 2 last season.
At 19-years-old, the future is bright for Bennett. He famously scored the first ever goal at the impressive Tottenham Hotspur Stadium (TalkSPORT) and the fans are looking forward to seeing what he can become – making history in the process.
He is one of many young talents at the North London club alongside the likes of Nile John, Alfie Devine and Dane Scarlett.
If Bennett can catch fire in League One then the fans will only grow more excited to see him back at Spurs in the future.
