‘Baller’: Arsenal fans laud Martin Odegaard after 2-0 win over Brighton

Arsenal rounded off their season with a fine performance to see off Brighton at The Emirates, as Nicolas Pepe fired in a fine double.

Mikel Arteta will have been delighted to end the season on a high after seeing his team deliver a number of inconsistent performances throughout the campaign.

Pepe was a shining light for the Gunners throughout, as were the likes of Martin Odegaard and Callum Chambers. In fact, a number of Arsenal players put in performances which showed their is some hope for next season.

But it was the display of Odegaard that got Arsenal fans talking on Twitter. The Norwegian is due to go back to Real Madrid but a number of fans will be hoping that the classy midfielder gets the chance to come back next term.

Odegaard got himself a nice assist and played some nice passes throughout the tie. And social media, as expected, was full of comments from Gunners fans praising Odegaard’s display.
