Arsenal fans and Mikel Arteta will be on the edge of their seats this week as Gabriel Jesus looks set to play for Brazil v Argentina.
The £45m forward went off on international duty carrying an injury and Arsenal fans were hoping the Brazilian medical team would see fit to simply send him home.
However, Jesus has been taking part in training ahead of the clash with Argentina this week and according to reports in Brazil, is now set to START this week.
Globo claims that Jesus will be starting for Brazil alongside the likes of Gabi Martinelli and Gabriel Magalhaes, who both did well last time out.
Arsenal fans, then, will be watching with bated breath as they pray their star striker comes through unscathed.

Gabriel Jesus set to start for Brazil v Argentina
This all seems a bit strange. Jesus has not played for Arsenal for weeks as they looked to ease him back but suddenly, after being looked at by the Brazilian medical staff, he’s fit to play.
Mikel Arteta will surely be fuming and if Jesus comes out of the game with another knock, the ramifications will be massive.
No doubt Arteta will have another one of his press meltdowns and Arsenal fans will once again feel like the world is against them.
But beyond that, it does seem odd that Jesus is now fit. Does it mean he’s been hiding something back at London Colney? Or have Arsenal been trying to pull a fast one?
Who knows, but all eyes will be on Gabriel Jesus against the World Cup winners and if there’s any sign of injury, then Arsenal will no doubt be straight on the phone.
