Arsenal are slowly getting into gear.
The Gunners have been getting good results since the start of the season, but the performances haven’t always matched the scorelines as Arsenal have gotten away with a few wins against the likes of Manchester United, Crystal Palace and most recently Luton.
However, Arsenal’s win against Brighton at the weekend was one of their most dominant performances of the season, and many of their players look back to top form.
Kai Havertz is finally getting amongst the goals on a regular basis, while speaking on Premier League Productions, Tim Sherwood has also highlighted Martin Odegaard as a player who has really improved as of late.

Odegaard has improved
Sherwood praised the Arsenal captain.
“When they get into the game Declan can drive with the ball as well, and Odegaard is playing the best football he has in the past few months, he’s back to his best, Martinelli needs to chip in with a few more goals, and Saka, Havertz, all of a sudden, welcome to the Emirates, if he starts scoring goals they could be the goals they need,” Sherwood said.
So much better
Odegaard did look a lot sharper against Brighton at the weekend, and it’s noticeable that his improvement coincided with Arsenal’s best performance for a little while.
The midfielder is a vital cog in this Arsenal attack, and when he’s on song, the team are so much more fluid and dangerous in the final third.
Fingers crossed this is the beginning of a run of form for Odegaard, because, during this little dip of form he’s had over the past month, Arsenal haven’t been the same team.
If Odegaard, Havertz and their teammates can start playing their best football, the Gunners have a great chance to be able to go on and win the Premier League.
