Newcastle United have supposedly already put plans in place to secure the signing of highly rated Miguel Almiron in January.
According to journalist Roberto Rojas, the Magpies are ready to shell out £15 million to sign the Atlanta United midfielder after an initial loan move.

Almiron has raised eyebrows with his form over in the MLS, having scored 13 goals and made 11 assists in 36 top flight matches.
He has rapidly become hot property, and it appears that Newcastle are the frontrunners to sign him next month.
His signing would seemingly be a coup, but what would it mean for Ayoze Perez?
Perez to leave?
Were Almiron to successful complete a transfer to St. James’ Park, then it would directly affect Perez, who has been with the club since 2014.
Perez has played a lot of games for Newcastle since arriving from Tenerife, but hasn’t always been able to convince the supporters of his worth.
Last season he came up with some hugely important goals as Newcastle flirted with relegation.

He more than played his part in the eventual 10th place finish in the Premier League, but this term he has been unable to kick on.
Rafa Benitez, who has been very loyal to his fellow countryman over the years, has recently started to use summer signing Yoshinori Muto in behind the main striker.
If Almiron signed then that would be even more competition for Perez, and it’d be little surprise to see him leave to pastures new.
