Ayoze Perez has recently found some excellent form. The Newcastle United striker scored a hat-trick against Southampton over the Easter weekend and it took his tally to 11 for the season.
However, after the game, the Spaniard hinted to the Chronicle he could be on his way out of St James’ Park at the end of the season.
“I have felt really well playing for this club, playing for this badge. It has been five great years and I cannot thank enough Newcastle what they have done for me.”
Many took his words as another suggestion he could leave. Last month he spoke to Marca, making it clear he would like to return to La Liga at some point in his career.

If he is potentially up for grabs, then Tottenham Hotspur will surely consider a move.
Tottenham Hotspur have long been keen on a move for the player. As the Spaniard told Marca back in 2015, Tottenham and Mauricio Pochettino were interested in his signature.
“Tottenham and especially Mauricio Pochettino were really interested, which is hugely flattering for me.
“At the end of the day nothing came of it because Newcastle considered me an important player and wouldn’t let me leave.”
With doubts remaining over the future of Newcastle boss Rafa Benitez, it would not be a surprise to hear that Perez is considering his future.
Tottenham need further reinforcements in attack. Perez is clearly rated by Pochettino and at 25-years-old he fits the mould of a player Daniel Levy would invest in. Football Insider has reported that Perez could be valued at £35 million, a fee Tottenham could certainly consider spending on a long-term Harry Kane alternative.
