Marko Grujic faces an uncertain summer as it remains to be seen whether he has a future at Liverpool.
The Reds have loaned the 22-year-old out to Hertha Berlin for the 2018/19 campaign to get regular playing time in the Bundesliga.
And he has enjoyed success at Hertha Berlin, surely prompting Jurgen Klopp to consider using him next season.
Grujic has played 14 league matches for Hertha Berlin, scoring three goals, including one at the weekend in the win over Mainz.
But it has been his job as a holding midfielder that has impressed supporters the most.
With 37 clearances, 21 blocks, 24 tackles and 21 interceptions (as per Who Scored), Grujic has been solid in the middle of the park.

Moreover, the young midfielder is tidy in possession and has completed 428 passes at a success rate of 81.2 per cent (Who Scored).
This has led to a nomination for the Bundesliga Rookie of the Month award, as well as Bayern Munich entering the race for his services, according to the print edition of The Daily Mirror via HITC Sport.
The eight cap Serbia international is clearly a talented player who could offer something for the Liverpool first-team.
Klopp should use Grujic in pre-season because his Bundesliga form indicates that he could become a key player for Liverpool next season.
