John is a sports journalism graduate from Staffordshire University. He has now worked with GRV Media for eight years, rising through the ranks and becoming Deputy Global Head of Football in 2022. He now manages six websites for the company, including The Boot Room, Geordie Boot Boys and Rousing the Kop. He also helps to run GRV's social media accounts, across Facebook and Twitter. His past experience comes at UEFA, The Guardian, World Soccer and Shoot Magazine, among other publications. John is also a big Peterborough United and regularly hosts Twitter Spaces about the club.
