Tottenham Hotspur have loaned young goalkeeper Tom Glover out to give him some first-team experience.
Glover has joined Swedish top-flight side Helsingborgs on loan until June 30th in his second loan stint away from North London.
Last season, the Australia youth international headed back down under for a stint with Central Coast Mariners, playing four games for the A-League side.
But now the 21-year-old is excited about playing for Helsingborgs, he revealed in an interview with the club’s official website.
Glover explained how the move happened quickly and how he was impressed by the fans when he watched a game.

As translated by Sport Witness, Glover said: “Everything happened very quickly. I was away with the national team and when I landed in London, I got a call that Helsingborg was interested.
“I saw the match on Sunday and told my girlfriend and family that the fans looked amazing.”
Glover will be hoping that his stint in the Swedish Allsvenskan will help his claim to break into the Tottenham first-team in the near future.
With Hugo Lloris’ Tottenham future in doubt after a host of error-riddled displays, Mauricio Pochettino could look at his other goalkeeper options.
Getting senior football under his belt is vital for Glover as he aims to impress Pochettino and earn a place in the Spurs squad for next season.
