'Atrocious': Paul Merson predicts result of Liverpool and Tottenham clash tonight
Liverpool play host to Tottenham Hotspur on Saturday night in a crucial Premier League for both sides.
Jurgen Klopp’s Reds remain well in contention for the title, with Manchester City just one point in front.
Meanwhile, Antonio Conte’s Spurs are in a tight race of their own, for a place in the top four.

Tottenham’s north London rivals Arsenal are currently in fourth place, two points above Spurs.
Liverpool and Tottenham play the day before City and the Gunners, so they’ll want to put the pressure on their rivals.
The Reds are in great form right now, having reached the Champions League final after beating Villarreal in midweek.
Likewise, Spurs will be confident, having put in a great performance to beat Leicester 3-1 last time out.
“It wouldn’t shock me”
Paul Merson, writing on Sportskeeda, has predicted the result between Liverpool and Tottenham at Anfield.
The Premier League legend says he wouldn’t be shocked if Spurs got a positive result.
He also stressed that Liverpool must not make such an “atrocious” start against Tottenham as they did at Villarreal.
Nonetheless, Merson believes the Reds will prevail in the end, winning 2-1 at Anfield.
“I think the way Liverpool play suits Tottenham as Antonio Conte wants teams to come at them.
“That said, they struggle stylistically against teams that sit back, so this is a really tricky test for Liverpool.
“Spurs have done the double over Manchester City in the Premier League this season.
“They could produce another telling moment in the title race by upsetting the Reds at Anfield, but I think Liverpool will just edge this one.
“It wouldn’t shock me to see Spurs get a positive result because of the way they play and their position in the Premier League top four race.
“However, my money is on Liverpool as things stand.
“Jurgen Klopp’s side were atrocious in the first-half against Villarreal and if that happens against Spurs, they are out of the Premier League title race.”
