Everton pulled off something of a coup with the signature of Andre Gomes in the summer. The loanee arrived from Barcelona and has proved to be a big hit among the Everton fanbase with his performances.
Now, the Goodison Park club even know how much he will cost. According to Mundo Deportivo, the Catalan side want £22 million for the player. If Everton can shift some deadwood, that is a matchable fee.
But Tottenham Hotspur will surely love to hear that figure as well.
After Gomes starred in a 1-0 loss to Liverpool in the Merseyside derby last month, it quickly emerged Tottenham had been watching.

As reported by The Telegraph, Tottenham were hoping to compete with Everton for his permanent signature. That report was then backed up by a similar suggestion from The Sun.
Tottenham are looking to improve in central midfield, with Mousa Dembele leaving and Victor Wanyama struggling with continuous injury trouble.
Gomes would be a perfect arrival in the heart of their midfield and, at just £22 million, surely falls into a price range that even the frugal Tottenham Hotspur and chairman Daniel Levy could afford.
Gomes looks perfect for English football, is affordable and in a position Tottenham need to improve. Surely they will be planning a hijack.
