Jesse Marsch has now claimed that Steven Gerrard’s side were time-wasting during the Leeds United vs Aston Villa game today.
Leeds managed to hold on for a goalless draw at Elland Road today after being reduced to 10 men in the second-half.
Marsch’s side got off to a decent start to the game and looked the more likely team to open the scoring. But Luis Sinisterra picked up a second yellow card at the beginning of the second period.
Leeds held on to prevent Gerrard’s side from picking up the three points. But Marsch has now accused Villa of time-wasting during the match.

Marsch makes claim about Villa
“Villa slows the game down and now it’s two or three opponents that we’ve had here that want to at every moment throw the ball away, take a minute on every goal-kick,” Marsch said.
“We need some help to manage this, we can’t do it alone. The sad thing is this is the best environment in the league for me and our fans don’t come here to watch a snail’s pace match.”

Marsch also accused Everton of time-wasting during their 1-1 draw with Frank Lampard’s side at the end of August.
The American boss clearly sets his side up to play an electrifying pace but feels other sides’ approaches are spoiling this.
Leeds are now without a win in their last three Premier League matches but still sit ninth in the table.
Marsch will be hoping his side can get back to winning ways next weekend as they make the trip to Selhurst Park to face Crystal Palace.
The Leeds boss will undoubtedly be happy to pick up a point today considering the fact his side went down to 10 men for nearly half of the match.
