West Ham United have recently been linked with a move for Bayern Munich striker Sandro Wagner. The Sun suggested last week that West Ham and Crystal Palace were both hopeful of signing the German international in a £6 million deal this summer.
The player has since come out to distance himself from the rumours. But with Wagner barely playing at the Allianz Arena the German giants will no doubt be considering ways in which they can offload him in January.
If West Ham were to snap up Wagner for just £6 million, it would represent quite the bargain.

Wagner, who retired from international duty in the summer after being surprisingly omitted from the Germany squad, only joined Bayern in Germany.
The Bavarians signed their former youth product from Hoffenheim in a deal reportedly worth a fee in the region of £11.5 million.
It came after Wagner had scored six goals in 17 games for Hoffenheim. He ended up scoring more goals for Bayern, with his tally for the season at 17 goals in 39 games for club and country.
If West Ham were to get Wagner for just £6 million it would see them picking up a player at nearly half the price compared to 12 months. Now that’s a reduction that West Ham fans can get behind.
