Chris Sutton has been left stunned by the reaction of some Leeds United players to the sacking of Marcelo Bielsa.
Leeds sacked the 66-year-old on Sunday following a poor run of form which included several heavy losses.
On Saturday, Leeds fell to a 4-0 defeat at the hands of Tottenham at Elland Road.

It marked the fifth Premier League game in a row where the Whites have conceded three or more goals in one match.
Leeds have since brought in Jesse Marsch, who previously coached RB Leipzig, New York Red Bulls and Red Bull Salzburg.
In wake of Bielsa’s departure, several Leeds players took to social media to express the utmost gratitude towards the Argentine.
For example, Kalvin Phillips wrote that Bielsa “saw in me what I didn’t even see in myself”.
Meanwhile, Liam Cooper said he’d “be forever grateful for everything you and your staff did for me and my family”.
And Patrick Bamford called Bielsa “the man who changed everything for everyone”.
“I get why the Leeds fans loved him”
Sutton, speaking on BBC Radio 5 Live, was blown away by this reaction.
He also wondered whether the Leeds board’s decision to sack Bielsa was premature.
“I thought it was amazing, your sort of Phillips, Bamford and Cooper, their posts stuff and love for him,” said Sutton.
“It’s astonishing really.
“I just wonder if they went too early with the sacking and, in many ways, I know that Jesse Marsch has come in now.
“But the club have put themselves under more pressure now with this appointment? They sort of have to stay up now.
“It will always be hanging over them that they sacked a guy who brought a brand of football.
“I get why the Leeds fans loved him. I thought they were a great watch.”
Leeds are next in action on Saturday, when they head to Leicester in the day’s early Premier League kickoff.
