Aston Villa youngster hails Tottenham ace he’s watched on YouTube

Aston Villa’s midfielder Jacob Ramsey has admitted that he’s watched clips on YouTube of Tottenham star Harry Kane.

Ramsey, 19, is a young talent who’s made a first-team breakthrough this season at Villa Park, and he’s an England Under-20 international now starting in the Premier League.

He’s wowed by the quality in front of goal of a Premier League rival.

27-year-old Spurs centre-forward Kane is considered one of the elite players in the division, and is a deadly finisher with 29 goals across all competitions so far this season.

His future is often a popular topic of discussion with neutrals, as it’s remarkable that someone of his calibre is yet to win a piece of silverware in his senior career. However, he’s playing in the Carabao Cup final later in April with Spurs against Manchester City at Wembley Stadium.

“I spent some time on YouTube and watched the England clips of shooting practice, and in those videos he’s a joke. His technique, right foot, left foot, even heading is good,” Ramsey said, as quoted by the Premier League’s official YouTube account.

TBR’s View:

For young stars who are now breaking into the first team, Kane is someone they would’ve watched shine in the Premier League during the last few years.

The England captain is a role model with what he does both on and off the pitch, as he looks like the ultimate professional.

His success has been built off hard work, and the centre-forward is already established as a Spurs legend after 217 goals in 329 senior appearances for the north London club so far.
