Aston Villa are reportedly interested in dazzling attacker Trezeguet from Turkish top-flight club Kasimpasa.
According to the Sun, manager Dean Smith wants to sign the 24-year-old this summer as his summer spending shows no signs of slowing down.
It is understood that the winger could potentially be on his way to the Midlands club for £8million.
The report details that Trezeguet is top of Smith’s wanted list and he’s impressed the club’s scouts at the Africa Cup of Nations.
The Egypt international is a promising talent that could light up the Premier League if given the chance and is an exciting summer target.
Villa currently have a fairly inexperienced trio Jota, Anwar El Ghazi and Matt Green as options out wide going into the new season, which is why another player for competition is vital.
Trezeguet looks like he could be an upgrade in the wide area and make an improvement to the starting XI.

Trezeguet enjoyed an excellent campaign in Turkey last season and that experience should bode well if he comes to England.
He made 38 appearances across all competitions last season, scoring nine goals and supplying 10 assists in return.
The skilful wide player is good with both feet, can play on either flank and has pace to burn too.
Villa are making some eye-catching additions already this summer and he would be another.
