Aston Villa fans are waiting to here an update on their star centre-forward Tammy Abraham, who has been in stunning form with 16 goals since he joined on loan.
But parent club Chelsea do have the option to recall him in January and the Sun reports Wolverhampton Wanderers are preparing an £18million offer to sign him.
It is understood the 21-year-old could have his loan cut short at Villa in order speed up his permanent sale to another club.
The Midlands giants will hope he remains for the rest of the campaign to aid a push towards the play-offs, but need a back-up plan if he departs.
According to Foot Mercato, Villa are monitoring centre-forward Mouhamed Belkheir from Italian second-tier club Brescia.
The report details that French clubs Caen, Amiens or Strasbourg are also all circling for his signature in January.

Belkheir is a former Inter Milan youth product and made his move to Brescia in search of first-team football.
But the 20-year-old has been unsuccessful with that for now and is yet to make a senior appearance despite a couple of outings on the bench.
Dean Smith’s side may spot something special in him to have the striker on their radar, but it looks extremely unlikely he could make an impact in the Championship in the near future.
Villa need to try find a natural goalscorer with some level of experience to replace Abraham if he does depart.
