Aston Villa were linked with a move for Cengiz Under in January. AreaNapoli suggested that they had spoken with Roma regarding a potential loan deal but nothing ever came about.
Now, Under is being linked with a move away from Roma in the summer. As reported by Gazzetta Di Parma, Roma are not happy with the way Under has progressed since he signed a new deal in the summer.
As reported by Turkish-Football, that included a pay-rise from £19,000-a-week to £48,000-a-week. It appears Roma are disappointed that this financial reward has not been matched by improvements on the pitch.

Undoubtedly, Under has struggled to find his best form under Paulo Fonseca at Roma this season.
However, he is still a top talent and Aston Villa should certainly consider making a move for him again in the summer.
Let’s not forget that Under was being linked with a €52 million (£49m) to Tottenham Hotspur in 2018, as reported by Football Italia.
If Aston Villa can stave off relegation this season then Under would be the sort of player needed to help the club take the next step in trying to re-establish themselves in the Premier League.
