Easah Suliman is currently at the mid-table Dutch side but has played most of his football with the club’s under-21 side.
It makes little sense to have him in the Netherlands when he could genuinely be an option for Aston Villa going forward.
The 20-year-old is a cultured defender, with England youth caps, who could thrive under the playing style of Smith at Villa Park.
It would certainly serve the player better to be in and around the first-team at Aston Villa right now, than wasting his time in the Eredivisie.
