Aston Villa goalkeeper Orjan Nyland made yet another mistake last night and it proved costly.
With Aston Villa leading 1-0 early in the second half, Nyland made the decision to come for a corner.
But the Norway international didn’t get there and Jordan Rhodes was able to nod the hosts level.
Norwich went on to win the game 2-1 and although the second goal was not Nyland’s fault, his error for the first got the Canaries back into the match.

It is not the first time this season that Nyland has been at fault for a goal. He was very shaky when he first arrived at Villa Park and was dropped for Mark Bunn before Steve Bruce was sacked.
Bunn is also not up to Championship standard and the other choice, Andre Moreira, is unproven in England.
Dean Smith, the new Aston Villa boss, clearly needs to sign a goalkeeper in the January transfer window.
Having a top stopper is so important to succeeding in the Championship, as Smith knows from having the reliable Daniel Bentley between the sticks at Brentford.
And Aston Villa had Sam Johnstone last year, who saved them a lot of points.
Their current options, on the other hand, are costing them points and Smith will know that his January priority will be to sign a new goalkeeper.
