Aston Villa may reportedly look at trying to sign Bournemouth attacker David Brooks this summer.
According to the Athletic, Villa will not be bringing iin the 23-year-old during the current January transfer window despite interest.
It is explained though that Dean Smith’s side could consider him a target again though at the end of the season if Bournemouth miss out on promotion from the Championship.
The report states that the Wales international will be available for “considerably less” in the summer if Bournemouth get stuck in the second-tier for another year.
Brooks may be playing in the Championship this season, but his Premier League experience reads eight goals and five assists in 39 top-flight matches.
The right-winger is a young player with massive potential and he favours cutting inside on to his favoured left foot.

TBR’s View:
Brooks has been in decent form so far this season, scoring four goals and supplying five assists in 22 games across all competitions.
The £20,000-a-week star is a skilful wide player that can be direct with his approach and he loves dribbling with the ball, plus he’s certainly got the individual quality to be a regular Premier League footballer.
His price tag was reportedly £40million last summer, which is why Villa would be wise to see how the rest of the campaign fares out and he’s an intriguing player for them to have on their transfer radar.
