Aston Villa will again feel aggrieved that their performance did not get the three points it deserved following a 2-2 draw with Burnley at Villa Park yesterday.
Dean Smith’s side were by far the better team and will feel disappointed that they failed to take all three points from another game that they dominated.
But as club legend Ian Taylor pointed out on Twitter, Aston Villa fans should remain calm about their current league position.
Taylor, who played nearly 300 games for the club, praised the club’s current star player John McGinn whilst reminding fans just how impressive the performances have been this season.

TBR’s View
There is no doubt that Aston Villa’s league position of 18th does not represent the standard of football they have been playing this season.
They have been let down by VAR this term and have been sucker-punched in games against Arsenal, Bournemouth and again, yesterday, against Burnley.
If Aston Villa can start turning these performances into wins then there is no doubt they can survive this season. Taylor is in no doubt and the fans should also have that positive attitude.
