Aston Villa given a possible transfer boost by Tyrone Mings' comments
On Friday, Tyrone Mings expressed his delight at his loan spell at Aston Villa when speaking to Sky Sports.
The Bournemouth loanee is evidently enjoying his time at Villa Park, potentially granting Aston Villa a massive transfer boost come the summer.
“It’s been everything I could have wished for and more,” Mings told Sky Sports. “I’m loving it, the fans have welcomed me, the manager has been great, we’ve got some great coaches – John Terry for example – and I’m learning every day and enjoying football again.”
Due to injuries and a lack of playing time at Dean Court, Mings was sent out on loan to the Championship in January.
But ever since joining Villa, Mings has been on excellent form, grabbing a goal against automatic promotion contenders Sheffield United and playing a part in four clean sheets.
Given the defender’s stellar performances and his satisfaction with life in the Midlands, attention will surely turn to Mings’ future come May.
And with Tyrone Mings publicly expressing his joy and love for playing for Aston Villa, the club will be given confidence they can secure a permanent deal this summer.
