Aston Villa nudged themselves out of the Premier League relegation zone last night but failed to beat West Ham at Villa Park.
A 0-0 draw was a frustrating return on a night where they faced ten men for much of the second half and many supporters were not impressed.
Wesley missed Villa’s first chance of the game in the first half, when he could have nodded home if he was braver at the front post.
And he failed to make an impact thereafter, fading out of the match the longer it went on and many Villa fans on Twitter tore into the striker at full time.

Wesley was pelted from all angles about his lack of goal threat and strength, with some supporters wanting Kienan Davis to start or at least a formation change to spark something different.
The supporters look to be panicking slightly that they’ve bought a dud, despite the fact there are plenty of matches to come this season for Wesley to prove himself.
However, when Tammy Abraham as many goals as anyone in the top flight, the contrast with Wesley can’t be pleasing for the Villa fans to see and they want much more from their new hitman.
