Aston Villa are reportedly interested in Arsenal striker Eddie Nketiah – and some of the club’s supporters on Twitter have claimed they are not too fussed about signing him.
Bristol Live reports that Bristol City have agreed a loan deal to sign the 20-year-old for the rest of the season, but there could still be competition from other teams.
It is understood that Villa are weighing up a potential swoop for him and would have the extra temptation of Premier League football over Bristol City.
Meanwhile, top-flight Norwich City are also keen and it’s believed they do lead the pursuit for him.
Nketiah returned to Arsenal prematurely in January after a loan at Leeds United, who sit top of the Championship table as it stands.
The England Under-21 international managed five goals in 19 matches across all competitions for them, but ultimately was stuck behind Patrick Bamford in the pecking order.
He has shown though that he’s a fox in the box that has great composure with his finishing and he’s quick too.
Villa have lost first-choice striker Wesley Moraes through injury for the rest of the season, while forward Keinan Davis has been absent for the last two months with a hamstring problem.

A selection of Villa supporters on social media have suggested that Nketiah would be unable to make the difference if he joined, with one stating that current 21-year-old youngster Davis is a better option.
Here are some Villa fans on the Nketiah speculation:
