Aston Villa fans react to report of a permanent swoop for defender Axel Tuanzebe

Aston Villa are looking to bring Axel Tuanzebe to Villa Park permanently after two successful loan spells, according to the Daily Mail.

They report that Dean Smith is keen to sign the Manchester United defender and is looking to secure a deal worth around £8 million for his services.

The report also says that Tuanzebe could make a third loan move to Villa, but the club would insist on a purchase clause in the deal if that were the case.

Tuanzebe has just one year left on his current United deal, as reported by the Sun last month, which may also encourage Villa that a deal can be done.

In any case, many Villa fans are so excited about the prospect of bringing back Tuanzebe to the West Midlands and lots of those who took to Twitter feel £8 million would be a bargain fee to pay.

One fan even said they’d rather Tuanzebe than fellow loan star Tyrone Mings – which gives an indication of the excitement around Villa Park if they could get him back from United.
