Aston Villa fans react to links with Rangers's Glen Kamara
A number of Aston Villa fans have taken to Twitter to comment on recent reports from the Daily Mail suggesting that Villa are one of the teams interested in Rangers midfielder Glen Kamara.
Kamara has been a revelation since arriving at Ibrox. The Daily Mail reports that he cost the Gers just £50,000. But he quickly became a stalwart of Steven Gerrard’s midfield, and is regularly involved in their biggest games.

The Mail reports that a host of Premier League sides are interested in the Finland international. The Villans are reportedly battling Brighton and Hove Albion, Burnley and Crystal Palace for his signature.

Despite his brilliant start to life at Rangers and the level of interest in him however, it appears that there are more Villa fans who would rather see other targets considered.

Several supporters have suggested that they want Dean Smith’s January priority to be signing a new striker. In fact, some have suggested that they would rather see the club focus on Kamara’s Rangers teammate Alfredo Morelos – who is on Villa’s radar, according to The Sun.
There are some who believe that he would be a good target for the winter window. But it seems that most Villa fans do not see the need to bring in another midfielder.
Here is what some of the Aston Villa fans make of the reports…

Need a striker not a midfielder

Quality player. Yes I’m I Finn, He is a Finn but we don’t need him. We have midfielder. Better for Kamara to stay at the moment. UTV

Go out and get Moreles. As much as I hate Rangers he’s a very good striker.

we dont need more midfielders. We need a super quick striker so we can switch up our play. For example when we play low against top 4 teams instead of having heavy/slow/strong wesley we got a small/pacey player to get behind and against other teams we use wesley

As a Gers & Villa fan I’ll say “No no no!” to this. Not for Gers side, but for Villa. They don’t need a CM. They need a striker that can actually move upfront. Just leave Morelos alone.
