Aston Villa could make a move for Jayden Bogle before Thursday’s deadline. According to TEAMtalk, Derby County have received an approach for Bogle from an unnamed Premier League club and Aston Villa are one of four interested teams.
Newcastle United, Crystal Palace and Brighton & Hove Albion are also interested in making moves for Bogle. The 19-year-old right-back impressed during his breakthrough season at Derby last year.
Operating at right-back, he scored twice and provided nine assists to show why he is a modern-day full-back in demand. He started this season brightly too with an assist against Huddersfield Town in the 2-1 win on Monday night.

Aston Villa could be in the market for a new right-back, especially if Ahmed Elmohamady leaves. Alan Hutton has already departed on a free transfer. Consequently, Elmohamady’s exit would leave James Bree and Frederic Guilbert as their only options.
Villa fans will remember Bogle’s struggles against Anwar El Ghazi in the play-off final at Wembley last season. Aston Villa won 2-1 with El Ghazi getting the better of Bogle to score the opener. But the England youth international is still a promising prospect.
Here are some tweets from Villa supporters discussing the Bogle links.
