A number of Aston Villa fans have taken to Twitter to comment on Jacob Ramsey after his performance in their Premier League clash with Brighton on Saturday.
Steven Gerrard’s first game in charge ended in a dramatic win. The Villans had looked set to play out a goalless draw with the Seagulls.

However, Ollie Watkins scored a late stunner before Tyrone Mings added a second to snatch the three points for Gerrard’s side.
The performance highlighted the work that still lies ahead for the former Rangers boss. Concerns over how Danny Ings and Ollie Watkins are going to fit in the same side seemingly persist amongst the fans.
And they were grateful to Emi Martinez for making a couple of big saves during the first-half.

But one of the players who seemed to receive plenty of credit on social media was Ramsey.
The midfielder was promoted to the starting lineup after initially being on the bench for what proved to be the final game of Dean Smith’s tenure away at Southampton just before the international break.
The 20-year-old was brave on the ball against Graham Potter’s men, frequently showing for it. And many of the Villa fans felt that he was a shining light in a hard-fought win for their side.
