Aston Villa youngster Jacob Ramsey has made comments revealing his ambitions to play more first-team games this season – and some of the club’s supporters on Twitter have responded by insisting he’s got a big future ahead of him.
Ramsey, 19, is a highly-rated talent to come through the academy of the Midlands giants and he’s beginning to get some senior chances under manager Dean Smith.
The teenager has played four times so far this season in all competitions, including a late cameo in the recent win over Fulham to make his Premier League debut.
He is a Birmingham-born attacker midfielder that has previously lit it up at youth level and is now looking to do the same with the senior team.
“I’ve made a strong start to the season in the Carabao Cup and making my Premier League debut. I’m hoping more opportunities will come,” Ramsey said, as quoted by the club’s official website.

A selection of Villa supporters on social media are extremely excited about what they’ve seen from the youngster so far this season and believe he can make an impact moving forward.
It’s going to be a tough task for him to earn regular minutes when the likes of Ross Barkley, Jack Grealish, John McGinn and Conor Hourihane are in contention, but he’s clearly on Smith’s radar and a fan favourite.
