Bristol City asked their fans to sum up defender Adam Webster in one word on Twitter amid reports that he could be leaving the club in the near future – and Aston Villa fans cheekily reacted to the Tweet.
Joining Bristol City last summer, 24-year-old Webster shone for the Robins, missing just two Championship fixtures all season. Indeed, he helped his side keep 12 clean sheets and even found the back of the net three times.
It has led to Premier League interest arising in his services, with Bristol Live claiming that Everton, Newcastle United and newly-promoted Aston Villa are interested in Webster. He has a contract until the summer of 2022.
Lee Johnson’s side are desperate to keep Webster, and the report claims that they have told any interested parties that they want an enormous £30million for his signature – in a bid to keep him. Bristol City posted this Tweet.

Villa are expected to be on the look out for a new centre-back this summer, with the club losing Tyrone Mings, Axel Tuanzebe and Tommy Elphick. The club are said be interested in bringing Mings and Tuanzebe in permanently.
Bristol City fans replied in their masses to the official Tweet about Webster, but Villa fans caught wind of the Tweet and piled in with their reaction.
