A number of Aston Villa fans have taken to Twitter to comment on reports from the Daily Mirror suggesting that Dean Smith is eyeing a move for Steven Nzonzi.
The Villans have wasted little time getting stuck into the January transfer window. Danny Drinkwater and Pepe Reina have been brought in on loan.

And it appears that the pair may not be the last temporary signings that Villa look to make this month.
The Daily Mirror reports that Smith is interested in Nzonzi, who is currently on loan at Galatasaray but looks set to be on the move this month.

The Mirror suggests that he is out of favour at Gala, which may open the door for Villa to make their own bid for the France international, who cost Roma £27 million in 2018.
And it would appear that the Villa supporters on social media are extremely hopeful that Nzonzi may make the move to Villa Park this month.
Nzonzi has probably not had the best time since moving to Italy. But he has previously been considered one of the better holding midfielders anywhere in Europe.
And while it is clear that many Villa supporters believe that there are bigger concerns to address, most appear to be in favour of a move for the 31-year-old.
They have suggested that he would be an outstanding addition to Smith’s midfield. And they are hoping that there is something in the rumours that Villa want Nzonzi.
Here is what some of the fans make of the reports…
