Aston Villa fans react on Twitter to Max Aarons interest reports

Aston Villa are interested in signing Max Aarons this summer following Norwich City’s relegation from the Premier League, according to a report from The Telegraph.

The Villans are looking to make the signings to ensure that no final day heroics are required again next season.

And it appears that one of the players that Dean Smith wants is Aarons. Like many of Daniel Farke’s side, the young right-back was extremely impressive during the Canaries’ year in the Premier League.

Sky Germany recently claimed that Bayern Munich also want the 20-year-old – who was born less than five months before the Villans contested the 2000 FA Cup final against Chelsea.

Frederic Guilbert impressed at times throughout his first season with Villa. But it appears that many Villa supporters on social media are excited about the prospect of signing Aarons.

He appears to have a frightening amount of potential. And Smith will certainly be aware that the youngster is also capable of playing at left-back. So a move for the starlet will see his options strengthened on both flanks.

And plenty of fans have implored the club to do all they can to make sure that they win the race for Aarons. They believe that a move has the potential to be a masterstroke.

Here is how some of the Aston Villa fans have reacted to the reported interest in Aarons…
